Миссия: невыполнима. Смертельная расплата, часть 1 / Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One
I fell in love with the movie as soon as I saw the trailer! And you know why? Because of Libra! The trailer is excellent, but the theme that accompanied it, Libra, made it exceptional! So much so that I downloaded the trailer from YouTube and converted it to audio to listen to it as a music track! Luckily, some time later, the theme was released. But still, I prefer the trailer. Listening to that music with the dialogue still gives me chills! The combination of the tension in the music with the dialogue creates a unique atmosphere! Then I saw the movie, and I was disappointed—perhaps because the trailer and the music had built up such hype and expectation... Yes, this score is incredible!
Lorne Balfe has become one of my favorite movie score composers, especially because of the Mission: Impossible scores! "Change of Plan", my favorite track, is pulsating, energetic, and bombastic! Absolutely gorgeous! And please let's not forget this: Lorne Balfe was the first composer to add choirs to the classic Mission: Impossible theme! He brought a unique and epic approach to the music, incorporating powerful choirs that elevated the emotional and dramatic impact of the scenes. This choice gave a new life to the iconic theme, maintaining its original essence but with a completely renewed and grandiose dimension.
The Gravity soundtrack is like that one friend who shows up at a party and, instead of dancing, decides to put on an emotional concert in the living room. Steven Price wasn’t messing around — he brought every space sound you’ve never heard and a few he probably made up just because he could.
Picture yourself in the vacuum of space, no Wi-Fi, floating like a lost balloon while the music builds and grabs your senses, whispering, “You’re not going anywhere; you’re staying for this!” And then… silence. BOOM. The sound comes back, slamming you into the stars in the most epic way.
No catchy hooks here, just an emotional rollercoaster that feels like a character in the movie. And the more I listen to it, the more I love it! In short: an auditory spectacle that deserves a spot on the playlist for any cosmic adventure.
