Гладиатор / Gladiator (by Hans Zimmer - Complete Score)
Is there anything left to say about this magnificent soundtrack? This is one of the most recognizable soundtracks ever and one of the most accomplished and beautiful! The Battle has always been my favorite track! Is it inspired in Gustav Holst - The Planets - Mars, the Bringer of War? Of course it is. It is almost a copy. But i really don't care, because Mr Zimmer made it even better and even more powerful! So powerful that when i first listened to the entire soundtrack, not having watched the movie yet, this track made such un impact on me that the first time i watched the movie, specifically that battle scene, i was disappointed. That amazing track made me imagine something much bigger, more epic! But now I appreciate that great movie and this perfect score!
