    But that´s the point. Are we sure that the files are truly lossless and not transcodes from low bitrate MP3?. Lossless checker seems to inform it´s the latter case.

    If you check the spectrograms, for example, in "Adobe Audition", you will see, that it's not MP3. But yes, there are questions to the frequency range. Most likely this is the maximum quality of the material, that the "La-La Land Records" had.

    Lossless checkers may often be wrong. For example:
    audiochecker.log for CD 1 - Summary 95,56% CDDA
    audiochecker.log for CD 2 - Summary 95,31% CDDA
    audiochecker.log for CD 3 - Summary 95,38% CDDA

    I had problems with John WIlliams A.I. from LLL Records. If i'm not wrong the audiochecker problem was with second CD. The same thing is going on with new Harry Potter with ALL CD. But spectrograms are good)

    @gary yes it's the true rip and it's like that. I propose that you order today as the shiping is ON, rip yourself and then we will compare the rips, ok like that? thanks for your efforts ^^

    Fakin the Funk indentifies it as a MP3 320 transcoded to FLAC. However, the same uploader post of Harry Potter, (FFShrine is the source for this here , right?) it is a true lossless rip.


    What the uploader did there was to take the MP3 320 rip that is posted on rutracker.org and transcode it to FLAC.

    The spectograms are identical.
