Bloodborne

This game was a little gem back in 2017. The gameplay was fun and the music set the right mood for everything.

A great collection of music from a classic game series. Listening to the score for the first game from 1999 brings back many happy memories.

My favorite song from this album is "I'll Build A Stairway to Paradise" by Rufus Wainwright. It always makes me happy when I listen to it.

For me this score has a vintage feel that perfectly fits the period in which the story takes place. I love it!

The soundtrack of Casino Royale (2006) is one of the most well-crafted in the Bond series.
“Death of Vesper” stands out as a highlight — restrained, melancholic, yet full of meaning.
The decision not to play the classic Bond theme during the film was pure genius: throughout the story, he’s not yet the 007 we know. Only after losing Vesper and shutting down emotionally does that theme make sense. When we finally hear it at the end, there’s no turning back — he has become the assassin 007.

Решение не использовать классическую тему Бонда на протяжении всего фильма было гениальным: на протяжении всей истории он ещё не тот самый 007, которого мы знаем. Только после потери Веспер и внутреннего отрешения эта тема начинает быть уместной. Когда мы наконец слышим её в финале, всё становится ясно — он стал тем самым убийцей 007.

The way Cristobal uses human voice as an instrument is outstanding. It is because of his music that this show is so memorable.

The concert suites on the second disc (tracks 16, 17 and 18) are a great addition to this album. They collect into one single track various shorter pieces that appeared during the movie, but I think I can also hear some parts that weren't in the movie at all. My favorite is Dobby the House Elf suite.

I really like this score, it is so melancholic and romantic at the same time. Nyman made something amazing here.

Leta's theme (track 25) is so beautiful. In it you can hear some parts of "Double Trouble", another memorable song from this franchise.

This soundtrack was created as part of Shadows of the Empire multimedia project (there was also one novel, comic books, a game and some toys). It is so incredible that it could even work as a score for a movie, if they ever decided to make one associated with this era (between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi).
