Three Thousand Years of Longing
I just finished watching this movie, a kind of good ending...I think so. The bgm are good, I recommend "Djinn Theme", most songs in this cd are based on the melody of "Djinn Theme" so many songs sound similar but there are a little differences among them. The melody is beautiful, sad and magic, this is the reason why i recommend it.
I don't care what people say about this movie. I love it! And it's for me the second best score of the X-Men franchise, being "X-Men: First Class" the best. The film's director Brett Ratner invited John Powell to write the music for being a fan of Powell's work in The Bourne Identity. Powell included references to the score from the previous two films. The second track "Bathroom Titles" is an explosion of violent percussion in the form of Danny Elfman's Planet of the Apes soundtrack. Actually, Powell's style is a noticeable mixture of Elfman and John Williams (especially their Spider-Man and Superman soundtracks, respectively).
filmtrack review declares: "Fantastic in its thematic development, relentless pacing, and complex orchestration, this score sounds like its franchise predecessors on steroids."

Елизавета: Золотой век / Elizabeth: The Golden Age
This is a hell of an excellent criminally underrated soundtrack! The original score was composed by A. R. Rahman and Craig Armstrong. Kapur was thrilled to have both Rahman and Armstrong working together on the music, saying it was fascinating to watch "two people with totally different backgrounds and cultures" interact. Cate Blanchett had travelled to India in the early 2000s, coming away with several Indian sounds, and badgered Kapur to get Rahman to score Hollywood movies. Antonio Pinto was mentioned as being a collaborator during production, but later Armstrong joined the project. In January 2009, he expressed regret that other compositions from A. R. Rahman were not used in the film, feeling that "the score of Golden Age was not half as good as it could have been." He expressed hope to hear these pieces appear in another project.

"Opening" from the score was used in the BBC's coverage of the Single's Finals at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships. "Storm" is heard in a trailer of the 2013 film Man of Steel.
